The problem in this approach is, we have to match the animation speeds manually to actual movement speed of the character. Today, I am going to show you a way to completely drive the character locomotion with a 2d blendspace with rootmotion enabled animations. In this approach, character's movement and the animations match perfectly without any sliding of the foot on ground as the actual motion is driven by the animation.
